Introduction

My name is William Luke. I enjoy studying topics pertaining to distributed systems, concurrent programming, and computer networking. I’m also greatly interested in exploring opearting systems, especially Void Linux, NixOS, OpenBSD, and FreeBSD.

I currently work as a software engineer. I enjoy interesting projects with systems, tooling, and networking.

Before becoming a proper software engineer I worked as an undergraduate research assistant while finishing my degree where I worked on projects dealing with:

• Distributed systems
• CI/CD development
• Infrastructure management
• Backend development

I’ve also worked as a part-time Linux sysadmin at the university, where I gained a lot of valuable experience in DevOps, systems administration, and complex enterprise infrastructure setups.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, cartography, and exploring new ways to use computers.
